Named after a Leonard Cohen song, Alexandra Leaving's music will take you by surprise. Taking influence from 90s alt-rock and the era’s fierce female icons, she's here to make her mark.

 

Her music has accrued over 120,000 streams and had support from BBC Radio One’s ‘BBC Introducing Rock Show’, Chris Hawkins on BBC6Music, Radio X (including a live session on John Kennedy’s ‘X-Posure’), Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing London, KEXP, and Apple Music playlisting: ‘New in Rock’ and ‘New in Alternative’.

 

Recent live shows include support slots for Permanent (Joy) alongside The North, Lizzie Esau and Candar. With her band, Alex returned to her Midlands roots to play the first What’s Happenin’? Digbeth festival over the summer. More music to come before the end of the year.
