Named after a Leonard Cohen song, Alexandra Leaving's music will take you by surprise. Taking influence from 90s alt-rock and the era’s fierce female icons, she's here to make her mark in the indie rock world.

 

Originally from the West Midlands and now London based, her music blends gritty guitars with raw, emotive vocals. She released her debut EP 'An Exorcise in Anger', produced by Michael Smith (Wolf Alice) last year.

 

Releases so far have had support from BBC Radio One’s Introducing Rock Show, BBC6Music, Radio X, BBC Introducing London and KEXP. With her band, she’s played London venues The Lexington, Sebright Arms, Paper Dress Vintage and John Kennedy’s (Radio X) Remedy Night alongside a Radio X live session. 2025 will see the release of her second EP.
